This adapter is used to adapt the Hyper 9 motor to a stock MGA transmission.
Adapts the Hyper 9 motor to the later(high-starter) MGA transmission after 1959. For earlier model MGA, we also make a “low-starter” version: MGA To Hyper 9 Transmission Adapter
Kit includes:
Current lead time is 4 weeks.
It is necessary to trim 1/2″ off of the transmission input shaft. This will not affect the ability to run with a gas engine in the future as the shaft will still engage the pilot bearing in a crankshaft.
