This adapter is used to adapt the Hyper 9 motor to a stock MGA transmission.
Adapts the Hyper 9 motor to the earlier (low-starter) MGA transmission from 1955-1959. For later model MGA, we also make a “high-starter” version: Hyper 9 to MGA High Starter Transmission Adapter
Kit includes:
Current lead time is 4 weeks.
Note: It is necessary to trim 1/2″ off of the transmission input shaft. This will not affect the ability to run with a gas engine in the future as the shaft will still engage the pilot bearing in a crankshaft.
